My Family

My family originated somewhere in Ireland, probably Galway. Mum was Bridget, dad was Patrick and they had 4 children, Catherine, Thomas, Bridget and Margaret all born in the 1850's. Bridget died at a few months old and Patrick died in 1861. It wasn't long after that their mum died.

Thomas was a carter and he married a young woman called Betsy. Betsy had a child called Thomas????? just before she married Thomas and I still wonder to this day if Thomas was his son.

Thomas and Betsy were very busy for the next few years producing a further 9 children, including a set of twin girls. Twins run in the my family........
